How does automatic vehicle recognition work at a car wash?
Automatic vehicle recognition works via a licence plate camera. When you drive up to the car wash entrance and stop approximately two metres away, the camera automatically reads your licence plate and identifies your vehicle. The system then starts either your chosen wash program or a pre-set default wash program without you needing to get out of the car or press any button.
Recognition works reliably when the licence plate is clean. In winter, it is worth checking that the plate is not covered by snow, ice, or dirt before driving to the car wash. Large antennas should be removed before washing, and the mirrors of larger vehicles should be folded in before driving into the wash hall.
For companies, automatic recognition is a particularly valuable feature. Once a vehicle has been registered to an agreement, any driver can take it for a wash without the app or separate credentials. The wash starts automatically, lights guide the vehicle to the correct position in the hall, and after washing you can drive straight out. The whole process is quick and effortless.
Is a fixed monthly fee suitable for a taxi or transport company?
A fixed monthly fee is an excellent fit for taxi and transport companies because the washing needs of professional vehicles are regular and predictable. A monthly agreement is an economically sensible choice whenever a vehicle is washed more than once or twice a month, as eight washes per month on a monthly agreement works out significantly cheaper than the same washes at pay-per-use rates.

- Plus covers car wash locations in your chosen area, €49/month (24/7) or €35/month during night hours

For a taxi operator working mainly in one area, the Plus agreement is often the best choice. For a transport company whose vehicles travel between different cities, the Max agreement gives the freedom to wash the vehicle at any car wash in the network. Can multiple vehicles be added to the same wash agreement?
Yes, multiple vehicles can be added to the same wash agreement. Each vehicle gets its own agreement tied to its registration number, but they all appear in the same app and are invoiced on a single monthly bill. This significantly simplifies the financial administration of a transport company.
Adding a new vehicle to an agreement can be done directly through the Juhlapesu app. In the app, select the “Monthly agreement” button and “Add vehicle”, choose the agreement type, and confirm the purchase. If you want to add drivers to the same vehicles, this is handled by contacting our customer service.
Companies with fewer than ten vehicles can get started themselves through the app. If your fleet is larger or you want invoicing instead of cash or credit card payment, contact us and we will tailor a suitable solution for your company. Where can you find a car wash that is open around the clock?
Almost all car wash locations in the Juhlapesu network are open around the clock, seven days a week. This makes us a particularly good option for taxi and transport companies whose vehicles are on the road at night and on weekends as well. The only exceptions are the Ruoholahti and Leppävaara locations, which serve customers Monday to Friday from 7:00–22:00 and on weekends from 9:00–21:00.

With a night wash agreement you gain access to our car wash service daily from 20:00–8:00, which is an excellent fit for companies that carry out night-time deliveries, for example. A night wash agreement is also a more affordable option if the timing of your vehicle’s wash is not time-sensitive.
